I Had a child on June 28th. I am 5’2 and the day i had him i weighed 195 lbs ( i gained ALOT OF WEIGHT, i started out 130 lbs!) i now weigh 150 lbs. I go to the gym 4x per week i do 30 mins of cardio per day. I only drink water and i eat healthy. Any ideas or supplements people have tried with results. I have 20 more pouds to lose!

I don’t claim to have all the answers, but I do like to do research, and searching online for gastric bypass diet has helped me to keep focused on eating healthier. I am not in need of the surgery now, but if I don’t watch what I eat I would be at risk of being obese. So I am being a bit proactive here.

Let’s look at the gastric bypass diet for a bit. After surgery your stomach will be smaller so you won’t it near as much as you do before surgery. Your meals will be very small – just a half cup to 1 cup. If you do overeat you will be sorry. The food won’t stay down, and you will have no one to be upset with except yourself for not following the plan you were given by the dietician at time of your operation.

If you are in the habit of eating fast, that too will have to stop. You will have to eat slowly and chew your food up very well. Your stomach will not be able to handle large pieces of food. In fact in the first few days will be liquids only. After that you will have weeks where all you can have is pureed foods.

Once you add foods to your gastric bypass diet you will have to drink liquids in between your meals. There won’t be enough room in your stomach for your foods and liquids also. You will sip liquids between meals so you won’t get dehydrated. You don’t want that to happen, for that is also a real health risk. Life will be different after surgery so if you are considering it, research as much as you can before making that decision.
